When I read the bulleted list toward the top of this post, I immediately thought, Oh, I've got to write a snarky comment saying "You had me at 'It helps you poop'," but you beat me to it ... bastard.

Yeah. It's based on an 8-point scale that came out in 1994: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7987361/
The range goes from "very pale yellow" (very good) to "brownish green" (very bad).
It's worth noting that if you go past very pale yellow to "clear," you're getting a little carried away with your hydration.
